Service & Inspection

How do we inspect the vehicle?

The vehicle inspection follows a predefined plan, which includes the following steps:

1

First stage of verification

We begin by ensuring the vehicle has all necessary documents, such as insurance, a valid technical inspection (MOT – HU – AU), and vehicle registration papers (Fahrzeugbrief). After document verification, our specialists conduct a physical inspection of the vehicle. Any aesthetic or technical issues identified are recorded in the vehicle inspection report. If the vehicle shows only minor defects (e.g., stone chips, small scratches) that can be easily repaired, our specialists seek approval from the service manager to proceed with the repairs. The onboard computer mileage is recorded, and checks are performed to verify if the mileage is genuine or has been tampered with. We then carefully inspect the bodywork under bright light to identify any imperfections. Our mechanics examine the body lines and the gaps between panels to ensure they meet manufacturer standards. The hood, trunk, and all doors are also thoroughly checked.

2

Second stage of verification

We open the engine compartment to check the oil level and quality. Next, we inspect other engine components, including the power terminal cables and conductors. The battery status is verified by comparing the results with the manufacturer’s specifications. The windshield and side windows are examined for scratches or cracks, and the electric windows are tested to ensure proper functioning. Finally, the leather/velour upholstery is carefully inspected for stains or scratches.

3

Third stage of verification

At this stage, we verify the engine’s technical parameters. The vehicle is started to ensure the engine reaches normal operating temperature and that noise levels and exhaust emissions are within EU regulatory limits. The lights are then checked, including the headlights, tail lights, and fog lights, which are sequentially turned on and off. The onboard computer is inspected for errors, and the functionality of the air conditioning (climate control) and heating systems is verified. Finally, the audio, entertainment, and navigation systems are tested.

4

Fourth stage of verification

The audio system is turned off during the test drive to identify any irregularities in the vehicle’s operation. Our specialists focus on the gearbox, which is monitored using an approved tester. We also monitor the throttle and brakes to ensure they operate within normal parameters. The suspension and shock absorbers are carefully checked, with technicians remaining alert for any unusual noise or vibrations. At a speed of 60 km/h, we assess the vehicle’s alignment, ensuring it drives straight without the steering wheel needing adjustment. After the test drive, shortly after the vehicle is stopped, our inspectors check for any oil or fluid leaks.

5

Fifth stage of verification

All observations recorded during the inspection are carefully analyzed by our specialists. If the vehicle is deemed to be in excellent condition, the inspection sheet is submitted for approval to the service manager. Upon receiving approval, we prepare the necessary documents for the vehicle transfer. The recorded observations are then forwarded to the sales department to list the vehicle for sale on our website.

Before we hand over the purchased vehicle to the buyer, each vehicle, regardless of whether it comes from the available fleet of our partners, undergoes a thorough inspection to assess its overall condition, aesthetics, mechanics, and registration documents. This inspection is carried out by our service team and supervised by the service manager, who ensures that the details in the inspection report are accurate and reflect the actual condition of the vehicle. We guarantee that the information presented in the vehicle description on our platform is 100% accurate.
